MRS TAN transcends boundaries that limit the art of drag by elevating the vapid and normalising the off-kilter. She is currently part of GlobalGrace’s Artist in Residency (Philippines, 2021) and several theatre productions that tackle capitalism, sexism, and mental health issues such as Intersection (Manila, 2016) and Walang Katapusang Godot (Manila, 2018). Her work has been featured in various international art festivals, publications and conferences worldwide.
