Noel Molloy

Noel Molloy is a visual and performance artist based in Roscommon, Ireland. He earned his Fine Arts degree at the Limerick School of Art and Design in 1982. He works in the field of sculpture/mixed media and performance art, and exhibits and creates performances extensively throughout Ireland, Western and Eastern Europe and the U.S.A. He has also curated and organised exhibitions and events such as group exhibitions of visual art, ARTS CABARET (live events) as well as the international CROSSROADS SYMPOSIUM '95. He is also the founder of the Working Artists Roscommon 1990 artists group and remains its administrator, and a member of the Visual Artists Ireland. He is the holder of numerous awards such as Culture Ireland/Roscommon Arts Office 2017, 2018 and 2019; event awards from Arts Cabaret 15 and 17; 19 Arts Council of Ireland awards from 1991 to 2006; and the Americans for the Arts 1998 Banana Factory residence in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania among others.
